Your galaxy brain forgot that the Dem’s don’t want progressives and an establishment candidate would have the same effect.

Again, you can have Trump for 4 years, or a Dem that will maintain the establishment and set them up for the next election.

Trump highlighting AOC and standing up for Bernie helps the progressives btw.

You really think your the smartest thing don’t you?

i just understand how the world works, your idealism is going to get us f***ed. but if you think AOC getting attention is good, maybe we deserve to get wiped

i mean if you want to get in an actual debate you're going to have to log off twitter and look at the sheer amount of s*** that will go down if we give Trump control over the country (and more importantly, the GOP) for four more years, i get that you're probably in a place of privilege where you can afford to just posture about how nobody is pure or progressive enough for you but for some reason your headass just doesn't get the immediate and long-lasting issues that are going to come from four+ more years of donald trump

"authoritarianism" isn't real, its something that comes from science-fiction literature

you're only saying this because you cape for staunchly authoritarian regimes and ideologies

but yeah, concepts like "authoritarianism" and "totalitarianism" aren't real and can't even be readily defined, theyre just liberal canards that fail to accurately reflect the reality of how different states function. there are no "anti-authoritarian" states, the entire purpose of the state apparatus is to enforce the rule of one class over another. the question then becomes, in which interests does the state act as the "authority" for?

Authoritarianism = tyranny, that's why we have the 2nd Amendment

Wish every random psycho thats shot up a school or club had taken out a politician instead.

    Bet s*** would be different.

    Lol I’m not a progressive.

I just know that the Democratic Party doesn’t want progressivism and an establishment candidate being in the office for 8 years will provide the Dems an opportunity to prevent it from happening.

You're toxic, wrong, and just an overall dumbass.

OP i agree with you overall, but its not a question of "authoritarianism", but class hegemony. democrats and republicans represent the same class interests and therefore will fight to defend them equally and on the same playing field

you’re handing trump a 2020 win, you forfeit the right to complain

And no, ignorami like you have the BEST chance of leaving us with another 4yrs of Trump. My vote isn't owed to anyone. But it can be earned by putting forth a genuinely great candidate. We have one in 2020, and we had one in 2016, but instead of gathering around him, y'all f***ing morons would rather try to "BUT BUT BUT TRUMP 😱" people into voting for diet-Republicans.

Klobuchar is a monster (Myon Burrell)

Pete is a racist (South Bend black police chief)

Bloomberg is a racist (stop and frisk, audio, etc)

Biden can go f*** himself (amongst other things, lying about his "education" in the Civil Rights Era)

I'd vote for my 14yo dog before I'd vote for any of the above. Another period.

Yang - good ideas, not perfect, might beat Trump but certainly won't win the primary.

Steyer - verdict is still out, but he seems genuine; not sure if he beats Trump but would love him to be in Bernie's administration.

    Warren - Judas.

Bernie - Platform I agree with morally, only one I KNOW would beat Trump, may not have the audacity to run independent once the DNC screws him again. My first, second and third choice.

don’t care what anyone says if Bernie doesn’t get the nom America deserves more trump

too far gone at this point. even the most powerful Dem rn Pelosi just bends the knee to his every whim

If the ppl don’t rally behind Bernie then 4 more years of Trump is to be expected

not settling for any half measures

bernie supporters get it, the rest are lost

your individual vote doesn't matter my dude, and thats not even a question of ideology, just simple mathematics. i mean do what you want, but historically speaking voting needs to be done around some sort of mass class line in order to be effective, and yet you believe shaming individual dudes on ktt for not wanting to participate in what is (supposedly) a participatory democracy is some sort of useful tactic.

And then there's this. Delegates are assigned at the state level, not by individuals. I voted third party in the generals in 2016. But my state voted for Hillary, so in effect, I voted for Hillary.
