I havent heard this name in years
Y'all posts have been cheering me up. I'm dying, lmaooo I love y'all
This just a preview for real album
He said 3k verses do more for him than a lot of other rappers which kinda implies he values 3k over Big Boi as well.
Just asking what's more valuable to him
I do, yeah. Big Boi is excellent though.
He was like “it was flute…so like idk it was fine i guess” but i wouldnt really take his opinion on it as a sign of the album quality
But i also think he was not warned that the entire album was flute before it was played
This album discussion thread is going to make me feel like I'm back in my Intro to Jazz class
I feel like if you're mad at this then you see music as more of a product to be consumed than just art for art's sake
Heavily disagree. If I love an artist’s voice and it makes me feel good to listen to it and that’s missing, I’m allowed to be disappointed. If Michael Jackson dropped an instrumental album, it’s ok to be disappointed a little if his voice is what you love the most.

Tht part in the interview resonated with me so much obviously im not as big as andre and probably never will be but im not making the same stuff i used to make years ago, taking interest in completely new things is so great and can change your whole perspective on life
More artists should do it
I forgot where I read it but I remember reading an article where they were talking about artists like Sade and 3Stacks and how they sometimes dabble in other creative endeavors so that when they come back to do music it still feels fresh to them or something like that
They lowkey starting to do that with the first wave of trap music
they highkey starting to do that with trap now hence why rap's not even been as huge in the mainstream this year lmao.
