This is absolutely beautiful, Andre's use of chords is insane, it feels like you're being comforted from space, really intricate sound design, couldn't sound further from what I was worried it'd sound like (a guy on a flute in his garage)

Overall this was decent, 4 of the songs would’ve met my expectations, the other 4 are a little more underwhelming and aimless

I think the digital flutes kind of worked against Andre because when it just sounds like a synth, I don’t really know if it’s even him. And since this is a solo album by him and not a band effort, that’s not so desirable.

All the tracks do add to the ambient vibe but yeah. I don’t know, kind of cool piece of art but probably leaves a little bit to be desired. It’s one thing to have him not rapping, but when I can’t even tell if he’s playing, then you start to lose me

Tracks 1, 3, and 8 are the best tracks where andres flute playing actually stands out and is the focus, like one would expect. On most of the other tracks, Andre’s role isn’t really as defined. I enjoy track 6 too, I probably would’ve just cut the album to those 4 tbh
