I thought I was done with this conversation but I find this to be very interesting and I would genuinely like to hear your thoughts.

You guys were up in arms over the hyperbolic use of the word ”property” in a hypothetical scenario but not about the very common hyperbolic use of the word ”bitch” to refer to your woman. One could easily argue that referring to your woman as ”your b****” is just as degrading (if not even more degrading) as referring to her as ”your property”.

By referring to your woman as your ”bitch”, (if taken literally as y’all seemed to do with the word ’property’) instead of hyperbolically, you are equating her to a dog, which is dehumanising and diminishing because she is a human being, not a dog.

Secondly, by claiming she’s your b****, you are using a possessive term implying that she belongs to you in some sense, which means that you have some degree of ownership over her (which is natural because she is your girlfriend and you both belong to each other without stripping each other of each other’s autonomy as individuals).

To be clear, since it doesn't seem to be - I am not arguing in favour of using the word ”property” to refer to your woman, nor am I arguing in favour of using ”bitch” to refer to your woman. I prefer not to use any of these words to refer to my woman, but I can understand how and that both of these words could be used hyperbolically to refer to your partner.

If anybody wants to respond to this, respond to the claims/arguments with your actual words and reasoning, not with ad-hominems. At this point Twitter and YouTube comment sections are looking like better options for discourse than KTT.
