Never heard of code geass either must not be that good
It's an okay show. It was very popular when it came out in the mid 2000s.
CLAMP character design is kind of ugly, there are a couple of animation fails in it, BUT the mechs are kind of cool and the story is kind of interesting
I liked it
Violet Evergarden
Miyazaki films hit alot harder when you're 12 but there's a falloff after that for most of them

Dis big cap
Dis big cap
it true.
This isn't to downplay Miyazaki being a legend though. There are a lot things he is simply unmatched in, but his stories were a bit hit or miss imo.
In terms of how he drew/animated things, though, the way that guy draws background/scenery always impresses me and I forget just how long ago he made some of his movies because of how good it looks.
nah never watched death note i’m not really into monsters/demons/fantasy s*** also death note look too spooky for me
It’s like a mature detective show but I respect it. I can highly recommend code geass but I get if it’s not your vibe
I actually rate CG above DN. DN fell off once they murked L. Also, Light is a horrible mf with barely any redeeming qualities, Lelouch is better written in every way.
This what I meant I guess it came off poorly
But death note feels sloppy
Vs how perfectly executed code geass is

nothing mature about Death Note other than the amount of death lmao
