The first time i watched Death Note was about 10 years ago when i first started watching anime, since then i've watched many anime and read many manga of all genres and types. I never watched DN again but i remebered liking it very much and remebered how it ended.
Two days ago i was boreded and decided to watch it again, i'm currently on episode 24 and i'll just say this, after 10 years of watching anime and reading manga almost every day, i can 100% say that imo DN is the best anime ever made.
I'm aware of the s***ty ending but everything that's happened up until this 24th episode is just absolute perfection.

I think after episode 10 it starts being convoluted
Light is way too lucky he’s not nearly cautious enough but that’s what makes it fun
It’s still entertaining and I’ll always recommend finishing it

Light carries the anime so hard
Highly delusional and entertaining character
All of his little plans from the beginning episodes are clever and fun
His relationship and dynamic with L? Peak
Even near the ending when he starts becoming very desperate and evil is fun to me

Idk I like it. Rewatched last year and pleasantly surprised by the pacing. First 10 episodes are perfect. Later on it’s fun and entertaining enough.
