Took me like four years after it released, but I finally watched the Hibike Euphonium movie. KyoAni is like the one shining light in the animation industry. Everything they do is basically in-house and they don't have to go desperately hunting for freelance animators cause they have their own animator school. They only release like one or two shows a year so they can maintain good production schedules instead of rushing to get everything done. Always makes me happy whenever I finish an episode of a KyoAni anime and see they only needed like 7 animators to finish it while other studios are bringing out double and sometimes triple that amount to meet their deadline. Feels like KyoAni is one of the few studios that understand talent + time = quality. I'd hate this industry a lot less if there were more studios that emulated KyoAni.
