just saw look back and jfc how did i not read this sooner man im speechless rn
most beautiful looking movie ive seen since hathaway flash
had to cop π―
I also watched look back yesterday, i hate that it didnt air on theatres man, incredible movie. Imo this movie captures Fujimoto's style better than csm anime and is what i'd refer those people who couldnt understand that criticism to, even besides the animation quality. It hit all the emotional moments, nailed all the most important scenes, may be recency bias but the whole story might have been elevated, i loved the ost so much. The character designs in particular stood out to me so much, literally fujimoto brought to animation. They really understood this work down to its most intimate details and fully delivered. Its length is just perfect as well
Read goodbye eri if you haven't yet
yeah i already read it when it came out it was good as well
Watched Look Back last night.
Was great. really loved the perspectives of this film. Loved the consistency, determination. So real feelings. Kyomotoβs introduction to fujino was actually one of my favorite scenes. Idk what it is, but something about genuine appreciation is beautiful. And the shock that her biggest competition was her biggest fan. Just so sad.

i think endless eight might be one of my favourite artistic endeavors in anime
