the early chapters are pretty weak imo and the lackluster adaptation just makes that more apparent. the material covered in s2 will be better but idk how much that really matters if the anime maintains this level quality

haven't bought manga since middle school, but i'm back in the game

Finished Jojo Stone Ocean

As a series I think I'd rank it 3rd bottom (better than part 1 and part 3 2nd half) As a jojo character she's more in the top half. I like her overall character its just a shame she was surrounded by a weak cast. Almost all of em ranged from ok to whatever at best to me with Hermes (didn't rlly care much for FF) and Anasui (mostly cause of his stand) being the stand outs. This also made me feel a bit ??? towards the ending too.

As for the stands they ranged from cool to also confusing which made some of solution to the fights interesting. Pucci is def one of the best villains in the series and I liked how big the impacts of his actions were towards the end.

Might pick up part 7 manga later on (or wait for the eventual anime release hehe) but it is rlly highly rated which makes me curious
