This is a message from my friend from the country herself
"people in the US and other countries are victimizing the former Bolivian president Evo Morales. We had elections two weeks ago and they were rigged since the results were halted for 48 hrs. The results were showing that the opposition was winning but they were suddenly halted and two days later, Evo was in the lead, which is very very suspicious.
Evo wasn't even allowed to be part of this election since we made a referendum two years ago where we voted for him not run as a candidate again but he overlooked the results and did it anyway."
The results were not showing that the opposition was winning lmfaooo, they showed that he was winning with a 7% margin, which later increased to 10+ after more of the votes from poor and indigenous communities came in.

"Audio recordings of discussions between opposition politicians and some US senators ahead of the elections have been leaked by the Radio Education Network, indicating that the opposition planned with US politicians, including Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, to engage in disruption if it lost."
Telesur is a fine source, but it's not even the main source for this story. Don't blame me that MSM wants to keep quiet on this.
Damn bro you sourced a Venezuelan govt newspaper and then sourced the one that used to be funded by the USSR
Genuinely curious because I'm not big on american foreign policy: can you find another source?
Yeah but it seems the people in that country weren't voting for him similar fashion with trump to Hillary with neck to neck results. I'll take the word of someone who lived their whole lives there first then consider the info coming from outside
They were, you can see the popularity surveys they were really close
Also, it's really hard to understand LA politics without being from there, its like a different world

Man do you dumbasses even read? A Bolivian news network was the primary source, but it's in Spanish:

I meant were lol
is there any evidence that this is US backed?
y’all keep sayin it and someone supplied the lithium motivation, but it should take a lot more than that to state unwaveringly.
I do understand how evil the US is btw, I’m just tryna be thorough
It is easier if you post the audios

Read the Spanish article, it refers to postcuba as the source of the audio
Read the Spanish article, it refers to postcuba as the source of the audio
The summary of the audio is quoted from there, not the actual audio
Why are those sources unreliable and not Western sources??
And who f***ing cares where the audio came from anyway, it would still be evidence if it came from a right-wing source.

Most sources are unreliable in different ways imo - that's why I prefer multiple sources
The audios are real, its true that the US has at least given some support to the military coup like it had done for decades

so pure speculation then. got it.
And US media is suppressing any thought of anger towards our country so people won't protest
