My material is quite tough to learn and my teacher throws in some questions during the test to make us think “outside of the box” which is ridiculous. Doesn’t help that our tests and quizzes are proctored too

Thankfully my exams aren’t proctored my professor makes us sign a waiver that says we aren’t going to cheat

But the class itself is difficult as s***. I’m taking 7 classes and the tax class is more work than all other 6 put together. We have periodic tax return assignments and this dude literally says “I’ve thrown stuff on there that we haven’t covered but it’s part of a tax accountants job to look up stuff they don’t know”

Literally graduated one semester before COVID hit feeling lucky as hell but then got furloughed at job

i pretty much gave up this semester, like im passing my classes now but when finals come

as far as my brain goes i'm fine and it's on me cause i felt like i was ready to start back up and i'm only taking 3 classes. i got a call about my standing and she said my midterm grades were D, D and Unsatisfactory, so i'm just going to keep chugging along. i'm really just being lazy more than anything because i know i'm only getting this degree as a back up plan, but i'm so close to finishing

oh no i wasn't questioning your ability to do well in school but because of the gravity of the injury i feel like it would be totally reasonable to ask your advisor/professors to let you make-up assignments/redo exams or whatever

but yeah whatever you decide to do keep your head up man

online school is so much easier

we have a functioning and competent university. We have not been having outbreaks or people testing with COVID at large rates.

for example

• limits to amount of people in class (none of my classes has had more than 20-25 in a room. Most only 10-12 if you included the people who skip)
• many classes are duo class (half of the class in person; half online)
• no assigned seats first day, but the seat you choose is the seat you stay in the rest of the semester
• everyone has mask on, teacher teaches with mask on too
• if found with COVID/COVID like symptoms; you and the two closest people to you have to stay out of class for 2 weeks.
  -only can enter building through certain door/ exit through certain doors.
  - same with stairs
  -believe most of the gym was closed
• no in person office hours
• constant sanitize

• all classes moved online after thanksgiving ( a lot of my classes have ended the semester before thankgiving, leaving it so that all you have to do is take a final)

its been fine for me. If I had to do 5 online classes this semester, I wouldn't graduate this semester.
