Grew up w/ it. Liked Slipknot the most when I was younger. I should’ve added that anybody who liked it as a child (I liked Slipknot and a few others when I was 12-14) is excused, but I am genuinely concerned why any adult would willingly choose to listen to any of this trash. It’s cringe af

like deftones, system of a down, korn, linkin park, limp bizkit, slipknot, chevelle, incubus

Some of it is well executed

but it did get pretty corny quick a lot of times and didn't stand the test of the time

I think people who like both hiphop and hard rock music/metal could find something in nu metal to enjoy just like any other genre

some of it was cool at the time

the style and stereotypes surrounding the genre is garbage im not suprised people are trying to bring it back like they do with everything else in the past
