Absolutely. I feel like if you enjoyed the 90’s grunge era you’d have absolutely no trouble enjoying their music. They just don’t have the mystique surrounding them

Literally every time there's a hate thread of something I like,

I go back and listen to it and immediately my mood is boosted. It's kind of great

Nu-Metal wasn't for the critics or pseudo artsy types. It was just hard hitting music for the masses.

The main ones hating were gate keeping boomers that didn't like the fusion of Metal and Rap. Two genres that were always disposable to them.

I liked the nu metal scene

An I go back to some tracks from time to time

It doesn’t have to include elements of rap to be considered nu metal

    Deftones

    Korn

    Slipknot

My top 3 is cliche but those bands stood the test of time and brought something different to the game.
