So I started doing singing lessons in 2021 and was thinking of eventually making my own music and I did meet up with a music producer in 2022. But I decided not to as outside of just singing I didn't have any other skills like being able to write good songs. I just worried like what if I made a song and other people thought it was trash and I just wasn't sure in general like what genre I would do or what I would write about cause I have a boring ass uneventful life.
never
I just uploaded a new song to DSPs
dont care about what people say
dont care about anything but how it makes you feel by doing what you like/love

Not saying for u guys to quit just dont think its for me tbh
it sounds like you haven’t really tried yet bro
When I had a windows piece of s*** I was making s*** on Ableton cracked. Now that I have a MacBook with Logic Pro I find the experience of producing unsatisfying. Idk what happened lol

If you’re self conscious just make music under an alias to start with and share your music anonymously. You’ll find out if people like it or not and if they do you might have more confidence to be more public with it. Never know if you don’t try
I so often feel down and moody about my art. Im so self critical i rarely share anything at all. Im not sure why i do it anymore, but i know for certain i like the experience of putting something together and it being greater than the sum of its parts.
The way to get better is to keep doing. If you want to give up, thats ok, just dont stop yourself from trying again in the future! Often im most inspired after a slump and this has resulted in some of my favourite works
sometimes i give up for a while but it’s one of the few things i enjoy so i will always keep trying even if i never publish anything
i did. was a trying to be a producer from age 15 to like 25. sold beats online, had a tiny bit a movement with some up and coming artists and had a tiny bit of radio play, got some looks but never really popped off. i got a good friend who is in the industry now as well.
actually i wouldn’t say i gave up, i just lost passion for it as i got older. every time i sit down to try and make something, i just don’t feel passionate about it and stop. i don’t mind it as a hobby now, and once in awhile i make something i think is good, but i just don’t have it in me like i used to
i think that’s ok, not everyone is meant for it. it was my identity for awhile but i bowed out gracefully instead of being bitter

Kind of. Produced in high school a bit, dj stuff and was kind of in some collectives throughout college then it all just fizzled. Never made money, it was just fun
I have some friends with instruments and we keep talking about starting some band when we're less busy, but we're either pushing 30 or over 30
If your end goal is for people to like your music, or to make profit you made the correct decision.
