I know for a fact that s***s making my ocd worse but can’t seem to drop it completely
this is the opposite of my experience because it helps me greatly with OCD. i can go for longer periods of time without having to do any exposures or any anxiety work, but i guess that must be down to the differences in strains.
i don't like using weed so much though because it has spill over effects, like what OP described, but more for my emotions. i don't feel things as strongly when i'm on a weed cycle and i really f***ing like the intensity of emotions.
but there are moments when i'm tired of doing all the OCD "work" where i just wanna f***ing exist and i often turn to weed in those moments, and it helps, a lot.
Op you should try delta 8 if you haven’t already. I smoke like an 1/8th of the amount of weed I used to, compared to last year. A zip lasted me months because I only did socially. But D8 gives me the same high, and honestly a better one because the comedown isn’t littered with brain fog and headaches. One 3g flying money x space walker cart will have me set for at least 3-4 weeks if not more

I feel that for sure. For me personally it calms the intrusive thoughts for about an hour but if I keep smoking after that it gets a little worse, but at the same time it’s hard to stop once I start cause I just want the break from the ocd to last longer
When it's around me yes. As soon as I get rid of it I don't wanna buy any more because I see it as a waste
tryna get like u brother

i feel you, the lasting effects of OCD work >>>> lasting effects of weed
somewhat related but I'm thinking of shifting over from bongs (and flowers) to a vape (and concentrate). My tolerance just too high and I want to believe a vape is somewhat healthier? I've been a heavy smoker for damn near 10 years smh ...

just take a break
just take a break
ngl bro I believe t-breaks are overrated ... I've taken 30 days breaks before, and beside feeling slightly higher than usual on the first session it's really no different. Like I don't feel any more "enlightened" during these 30 days. Maybe a little less hazy in the morning? Idk. It's similar to what OP said in the sense that it doesn't really do harm so it's hard to stop it. And now that I'm done school and into my career it's like why not sesh right after work (no homework, assignments, etc). Anyways just rambling but yeah

vaping undeniably healthier if thats what you're after. still a net negative on your respiratory system but better than smoke forsure

thats fair, i usually take breaks when smoking to much is getting to me mentally, i have asthma so i just use an inhaler when i start to get a cough or something
dry herb vaporizers feel the healthiest to smoke, u could take edibles or tinctures, those always end up f***ing with my stomach when i take them every night but might be different for u
it's been 12 days since my last smoke and the tides have turned dramatically. I've been reading every day, a lot. I've been engrossed in practicing french. i come home after work with energy ready to pour into cooking and cleaning. i feel so happy, present, and buoyant in life. i said this can't continue into my 30s and i meant it. good God it feels so nice to be this way...
