so - like its the opposite for you?
I did that for a while, I learned to shut work stuff out the minute I leave the office. Plus turned notifications off for my work emails on my phone

What's your job? What are you thinking about? How long have you been working there?
Not in the slightest. Turn off computer and put it away. Don't have any teams etc. on phone.
nah soon as that tab is closed its out of sight out of mind entirely. i recently started thinking about work on weekends but thats cuz its a tough period and holiday season and more work to do. I never do any work outside of my hours though and even if I think about I try not to stress

Tech/I'm thinking about how i'll finish the work that's still left/working for 2 years
I think that's the whole point of a career is. Especially early on, it should be all you think about
every now and then work enters my mind but not in a stressed out way i just enjoy doing well for my co-workers and i work at a non-profit. i usually drop work like a bad habit soon as i clock out
i personally do wanna transition to working a s*** ton whether it’s a job or my own thing

Very graphically put, but clear.

Okay. When I started my current job, I had the same thing. Mainly because the software was not working well, which reduced our productivity and increased our workload. And this is an industry where we have to get back to clients like the next day, so we were getting the one call after the other, not being able to process all the requests and having to do it the next day. That made me stressed.
Now, my company is sinking & the software is working better, so the workload is actually really manageable.
I don't know about your project deadlines, but if you've got plenty of time I wouldn't worry about them. If you experience similar stressors as I did, then I'm not sure you'll ever be able to fully do that. Some people can, others can't? But for me, one call after the other, while everything being really time sensitive is a really s***ty thing.
So if your workload is drowning you, you should probably try to find a company with a healthier culture long term. And short term, try everything you can to not let it come at you in your home, which users have already given tips for ITT.
