I just came back from smoking a blunt in my backyard and a f***ing raccoon pulled up. I went to the basement to grab an empty paint can beamed that nigga right in the head and it didn’t flinch

Took me having to launch a two by four at it to scare it off. Ngl I was a lil shook.

I can only imagine what niggas who encounter bears and stuff like that feel like

    s*** is terrifying yo

Damn I’ve encountered raccoons and skunks too many times to count. One time my dog got sprayed by one. Generally they’re more scared of you and will keep their distance though.

There’s supposedly coyotes that attack people’s pets from time to time too, but I’ve never seen any myself.

Also in a neighboring city there’s a lot of wild peacocks. They’re calls are really loud and annoying, sounds like a human getting attacked or something.

Keep in mind this is all in Los Angeles county.

last summer i was out jogging in some forresty trails late at night by myself (this sounds a bit too spooky of an opener compared to the WILD BEAST i encountered ) time is just shy of having passed 23 (still light out though) and in midst of making my way on a downhill path back towards town - i see in the corner of my eye the distinguishable silhouette of...... a HUGE horse lurking in the bushes like
10-15m away from me mind you, there's no wild horses around in the area except for on farms and outdoor ranges/pens etc so maybe it broke free or something. So i'm basically all alone in the woods, 5km away from ciViLiZaTiOn with a HUGE horse like "whats up with you fam" i haven't ran that fast in my life! had me legit like

jolted instantly into sprint mode and while i was DASHING to safety all i could hear play in my head was "I got the horses in the back " over and over

I grew up in a fairly remote area with a high black bear population. I've seen 100s of them, been pretty close to them dozens of times. Was close enough to reach out and touch one once. They'e actually really misunderstood animals, I've found them to be quite gentle (except towards stumps) and they seem to really just want to mind their own god damn business. Grizzlies are a different story though. Never want to get close to one.

I see deer every day here in the summertime, probably my favourite animal to see. They let you get close if you move slowly. Totally harmless, very shy. If you were to attack one, they would f*** you up bad, though. Saw a lot of elk in Alberta last year, too. Super cool, but seem more aggressive than deer. Also they're absolutely enormous.

I've also seen a couple of cougars (terrifying), and gotten pretty close to quite a few whales while out fishing.

the best thing is when you encounter wild deer and they can sense you're peaceful and mean them no harm and they approach you all gentle, let you into their space convinced of your intentions and let you touch them i don't ever want to catch those hoofs though

  • Encountered a wolf carrying a squirrel in its mouth. Was spooked

I was hiking with my friend, and I saw 3 small animals the size of dogs sprint like 20 yards in front of us

Then I heard a bunch of branches snap and looked to my left, saw momma bear walking behind the 3 animals. momma bear war following her 3 Cubs

Turned around, walked a 1/4 mile back and waited 40 minutes until they were gone
