I’ve never had this this looks right up my alley damn

its so GOOD especially the pasta variant

im black n white mixed n on my white side my moms n aunties are irish n itallian - irish staright from the boats of the english famine war they did ireland my great gma stowing away with her two siblings while their parents died, and on italian side the classic Italian immigrants of usa

chicken marsala is what on of my moms sisters would make all the time hen we would visit with the pasta its so BOMB and have the house smelling

its not terribly difficult to make neither, just get a good wine to deglaze (i think thats the right terminology but i might be wrong) it with.

all my aunties n ma are relly good at one pasta dish from scrap, my mas is shrimp alfredo with homemade cream n that auntie is marsala

no unfortunately my sister inherented all recipes, thats another tradition, everything goes to the daughters from the moms until the moms past away then it can also go to the sons. very convoluted n contrived but yeah

just get it from an actual itallian site instead of a generic or ai recipe google search prompt or sumn, it should be good

i dont know if they just made up cuz our family is just a mishmash of a bunch of s*** from intermingling but it is what it is, you cant argue with the women

but it should be good regardless, its usually a item on some itallian restaurant menus as well. its considered moreso "itallian-american" even tho its based in another straight up italy dish, so some might not have it if theyre really smug and tryhard about it.

but it shouldnt be too hard to find, if you wanna try it out and deconstruct it before you make it urself.
