A lot of the popular rappers today won’t stand the test of time. I doubt anyone is going to be listening to 6ix9ine in 5 years like that anyways. He’s just what’s “cool” on the internet. The hype behind him was the meme of him being in jail. Why do you think he’s riding out the whole “I’m a snitch” meme. He has nothing else to ride off of cause his music is trash and slowly people will be tired of hearing the same song over and over again.

I don’t listen to much rap these days but even when Lil Pump was all over the place few years back. I hardly see him making waves now (correct me if I’m wrong.)

Same goes with Blueface. Internet went crazy seems that his hype has died down.

Just give it time, many of these trash artists in hip hop will be replaced just as quickly as you know it. Happened in the 2000s also. These guys have no longevity just hype off one or two songs.
