If you look up MagSafe car mount there’s other styles that go on the dashboard or have a larger surface area. For the one I linked you’ll need to cop a MagSafe puck if you don’t already have one

I have a base 12 and it’s never come close to falling off so the MagSafe is pretty strong. Can’t attest to a pro max but there’s some reviews from people that have them

I gotta have it in a specific angle essentially for it to charge, happens with all my cords. Works better if the phone is face down and the cord hangs down.
