my mbp starting to act up again (safari and spotify froze)
in the past all ive had to do is replace the hard drive cable
tried to copy some downloaded music to an external I hadn't yet just in case it went down but it only copied over a few then the rest just stopped midway through. tried multiple hdd and it still did the same thing. please tell me ill be able to back up to time machine before it completely dies and before I can get the new air.

I just want them both to be announced already so I can decide
