Since that comment though I did run into problems with Synplant and Reference 4 which both crash Ableton for me due to kernel issues I guess.

definitely bro, I wish I could downgrade solely for music production but I downloaded ransomware the day before I made my time machine backup, then successfully removed the ransomware on my own before it encrypted my system, but now I can't f***ing downgrade to my only backup because I can see that the rogue files are in my home directory still lmfao.
