need to do more testing with different things but the speed is honestly incredible, the CPU under 100% was using far less power than my 2017 also

I’m debating waiting on the Air to get announced since I don’t do much crazy stuff on my MBP anymore. It’s actually been running a lot better recently but I want that m processor.

they fear regulation

they want to control the situation and make sure people are only replacing batteries, screens, logic board, top cases

basically just large pieces, I doubt they'll give people guidance outside of that and they want to sell the parts marked up some I imagine

a lot of people don't want to crack their macbook or phone open lol

also it will definitely void your warranty if you break something and they can prove it

I imagine they'll want the serial number and the parts and why you're repairing it before they even send parts

it should in reality cost more to buy a computer piece by piece. But if you watch the old LTT video where they replaced the iMac display, it literally cost them double
