Not bitter, just can’t fathom why anyone with an iPhone prefers Spotify over AM.

Like honestly, what does Spotify do better than Apple Music?

And please don’t say playlists because I compose my own playlists and don’t need to be told what to listen to.

i use both i prefer spotify for music discovery and general listening and use apple for dolby, the dj mixes and songs from my itunes collection

I've had both for a while just off apple trials but spotify been my main bc I had it first

cant decided over a m1 air or m1 pro 14

Outside of “better” playlists, what does it do better?

Honest question

spotify connect is better at controlling multiple devices

for example if I airplay a song to my Apple TV with Apple Music it takes over the audio on my phone, with spotify I could play music on Apple TV then like watch something else on phone

spotify wrapped and some social features

and I feel like the phone app is a bit faster to navigate and queue songs with but that could just be me being more used to the spotify app (Apple Music has better app on Apple TV and maybe Mac)

I would say spotify connect is the big one tho

No lie the multiple connect feature sounds cool

ya I honestly assumed Apple Music worked p much the same way, was a little surprised it didn't

there's also some little things with the spotify app that seem like "no brainers" that are missing from Apple Music app

like:
-swiping on the album art to go to the next song
-tapping the song name to navigate to the album

It does though fam... You can airplay and also play audio on your phone. You can control multiple devices

Clicking the artist name let's you choose if you wanna go to the album or the artist

ya but it doesn't work as consistently and you can only do it with airplay enabled devices

with Spotify I could log in to my account on a web browser and it would connect to my phone

but ya u kinda right

I think browser support is coming soon but not sure if it'll work as seamlessly

I feel you. I usually wanna navigate to the album so having a one click option for that would be preferable for me too

facts, Apple Music does sound a bit better from what I tested but all my playlists on Spotify
