laptops running windows can be the same price as macbooks
no computer even ones you can build yourself can be as powerful as the new mac pro
i use microsoft products and apple products. if you think either one is trash you're stupid
you can build a Ryzen hackintosh with ECC memory that should crush the current Mac Pro lineup

macbooks are great for productivity, the fact that not everyone uses them for that doesnt make them less good in productivity, id say they are far better than windows laptops for productivity

Go ahead and give me a list of parts that you would put in a pc to make it more powerful or even just as powerful as a maxed out pro. Then once you've given me a list that isn't even as good, notice how the price is nearly twice that of the mac pro. I'll wait.

You must not understand hackintosh. Good luck getting a GPU that is 20% as good as what you're going to have in a maxed out mac pro run your hackintosh.

Not gonna do that, but I really doubt the Mac Pro really has the more efficient prices for specs than piecing and building your own

It's a crazy fact, I know. If anything it's actually under priced. It might be really expensive but if you wanted to build a similar spec'd pc yourself you would be spending way more money. And it wouldn't be as good.

Nah it's just annoying seeing people that think they know anything about computers talk about them being overpriced just because they can't afford it. Just because you can buy something not as good for a cheaper price doesn't mean it's a better product. It just means you can't afford a better product.

1600w PSUwouldn't be faster than a Dual Xeon Pro but you could get a 64 core Threadripper and beat it in Multicore CPU perfomance
