people really give artists and bands one chance in their minds sometimes. it's wack fans. real fans know that their faves might have a miss sometimes but they'll always have the potential to make music even greater than what they once did
Judging by their recent live uploads they still got it I'm keeping in touch

imma be really upfront and say that I play songs off of EN more than I do Reflektor nowadays
stop sleeping on Reflektor jfc
i personally think it’s a classic and i rank it 3rd behind funeral and neon bible but some fans hate the album for some reason lol
Respect. They definitely deserve to be in the convo. LDA is my favourite to put on though, and probably their closest to a masterpiece IMO.
LDA is probably their best musically to me, I just think the first 2 were so original and influential it’s hard to top the impact of those and the art direction of those albums were crazy too
Everything now is mid but reflector is unreal I like just as much as other three albums
LMFAO The Suburbs is one of the most bland albums i’ve ever heard iml, def not a classic at all
I don't know why everyone stopped liking Arcade Fire because of one miss. Reflektor is good too. Arguably the best rock band of the 21st century besides maybe Broken Social Scene.
Arctic monkeys
Arctic monkeys
absolutely not and you should be embarrassed for bringing them up next to Arcade Fire and BSS
Idk i think those albums are really not special and i dont think Neon Bible is a classic at all. They haven’t aged too well in comparison to similar music made in that era. Suburbs is an unbelievably boring listen honestly
Suburbs is like MBDTF level in its importance to the industry, give it a re-listen.
Also the first 3 Arctic Monkeys albums >>
Every Arctic Monkeys album >>>
when you say it like that...
maybe BSS does take the cake..
Whats BSS best album?
I think Arcade Fire influenced a lot of bad music (Imagine Dragons, Mumford and Sons, Whatever large scale band that wanted to do that group sing type vibe) so that isn't really the best legacy lol
They influenced a wide range of indie pop, folk and rock. Yes they also influenced derivative bands, but what can you do?

real, it might be my fav of theirs no cap
imma be really upfront and say that I play songs off of EN more than I do Reflektor nowadays
Same tbh. I think Reflektor is nice but never clicked for me like that
Every Arctic Monkeys album >>>
Suck it and see wasnt great and i thought tranquility was alright.
Other than that i would take arctic monkeys 10/10

Did their stuff really age badly?
Or is it a kind of situation that happened with Grunge where you had these guys come in and be the forefront for this new-ish sound and then get bogged down by a lot of s***ty clones so now when you look back they don't really seem "super" special.
Cause I think it's definitely the latter and I could probably understand not liking this band if you just decided to listen to them now in current year with no context.
Whats BSS best album?
My personal favourite is You Forgot it in People. It might be a bit of a staggering first listen, but I grew up with the band. jsyk
