Maybe not individually but I have heard songs like WAP, Rockstar, The Box, Blinding Lights being played in different stores, from people's cars, hell I've heard Savage Love being played at a couple places too.

But I agree with OP and some posts in this thread. Hits and superstars aren't what they used to be because media isn't as centralized as before. The internet allows bubbles and sections that TV/Radio didn't, so hits are less impactful to the whole population.
