Nas, Outkast, lauryn hill,Lupe, kanye at times, white people love Run The Jewels, etc

Hip hop has always had conscious rappers that were almost as big as the Jay Z's, Wayne's, Drake's of the industry.

This lane has been dead for a good while, who's succeeding Cole and Kendrick?

    Please don't say Cordae 🤢🤢

On the real, lyricism in hip hop is dead and it’s kind of sad. Not everything needs to be on some lyrical miracle s*** but we need some rappers in the mainstream who can actually rap.

Do the rappers who talk about overcoming street life and what it’s like to live in it count as conscious (Youngboy, Polo G, etc?)

Polo g and Kodak black both have conscious rap songs. Hell a lot of their subject matter is socially conscious. Chance the rapper as well

Then to a lesser extent you got g herbo and cordae
