Solid thread. I agree op. This things are a big part of our origin, for some reason the knowledge on this is limited, but it all makes sense, specially if you see the bigger picture.

For example, the theory that mushrooms are a main theme in the bible, christianity being a kind of "fertility cult" that used shrooms and shrooms recipes for enlightment and reaching god. It may sound like a joke, but at the same time all this is too complex and weird to be just a "coincidence".
