I find that when I find myself behind a woman, I either cross the street or walk reallllllyyy wide from them so I’m not behind them, and then briskly walk by

At first I didn’t really think anything of it, I just thought I was being a good person and making sure people around me felt comfortable. But now I wonder….

Do you guys do this? Or do you not think about it at all? Am I doing too much?

Also interested if other men notice or care about how others feel around them

Some might say you’re doing too much but I believe it’s a reasonable thing to do. When I’m in public i try to be aware of my surroundings and how my actions may affect those around me. I think that is or rather should be considered basic human decency

I only do it if I've been coincidentally following them for several blocks. I definitely try to be aware of how close I am to others tho especially women. On the flip side I've noticed that others tend to not care how close they are to me

Yeah whenever I'm walking behind I'll make my presence known either by shuffling my feet or coughing. It's a legitimate concern for a lot of women
