they attend concerts because the music is good and they want to experience it in a venue with other people lol. same reason people go to sporting events instead of watching it on TV

Dawg. People go see holograms like Hatsune Miku live in sold out stadiums. I'm not saying AI is going to dominate the industry but it's shortsighted to act like it won't have a place.
Either way concerts make up a small % of music listening. Nobody will care where the music comes from if it sounds good when they're listening to it in their headphones/car/whatever.
