DAMN. is structured in a more literary way than TPAB and it leaves room for interpretation, it's his most conceptual album and it implores the listener to contemplate the views shared on this album and how they relate to their own experiences on earth
Art is meant to challenge the listener and present new ideas. The fact that it has left people so divided is proof enough that the execution of the album accomplished its purposeYou make a decent case about Damn being more ambigious but that doesn't necessarily make it more 'literary'. TPAB has a straightforward structure but as do many classic novels. Also the music on TPAB is arguably richer and more ambitious and works perfectly with the lyrics. While a Pulizter, it won the music prize after all
