I don't believe a person can truly classify themselves as a leader or follower, its up to their peers to determine that.

Feel like to be a good leader you’d need qualities from both, for example knowing when to avoid conflict and when to embrace it

Nov 5, 2020The more I mature the more I grow into the leadership role. I see it in myself manifesting naturally tbh which is weird cause as a kid I was the quiet loner who had friends but kept to myself. Now I'm working on a project that was put together by me and leading others

So, that begs the question are leader born or can they be bred? I used to think being a manager meant you were qualified to lead, but that's not always the case.

weird because u can also be a leader within yourself not other people. all those traits listed (minus "have followers" and "focus leading people") are really great to have if you dont want to be a follower in general and just lead yourself.

that's not necessarily true, I don't really ever inject myself into wanting to be a leader I just know I am, I feel that people who chase leadership positions aren't usually great leaders
