This is a lot better on second listen. While it’s not good as TUN, Sweetener, and DW it’s still a really great album. Ariana proves she’s one of the best female pop artists alive with an incredible voice.

She tried a trap beat for TYN, she should have tried a drill one for this album.

This is deservedly getting panned. And some critics actually held back. Some of the reviews read lower than the score they gave it

I do think she needs different producers for her next album. Jack Antonoff and Bloodpop would work amazing with Ariana.

This is my least favorite song on the album but f*** it works a lot better as a drill track

After a few listens, the r&b tracks are the only ones worth keeping. The others just sound like Sweetener b sides

Her vocals can make any genre sound good

Drill is bottom of the barrel "music" tho

But that's what's popular now. People have been putting her vocals on drill beats for a while, and it sounds cool.
