DynamiteCrystalEminem/Drake/2pac/Kanye West(THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE)/Kendrick Lamar are great examples of an artist. If you listen to each of their albums. The sound/songwriting format changes on every album. I wish I can explain it but it is so complicated to explain. I didn't even understand what it was until a producer explained it to me. He literally sat me down and explained it to me than he said listen to all genres of 🎶. When I did that I then understood what he was talking about.

Tbf I think what OP is getting at is whether or not we rank rappers by technical skill at the art of rapping strictly or whether we rank them based on the body of their music.
For example, Kanye is absolutely a top ten hip hop artist in terms of music, but in terms of technical ability for spitting I don’t think he cracks top 30 if that makes sense

I am not against street rappers. If I was against street rapper than you can say I hate my own skin color which is not the case. I just have conversations with producers(Hip Hop Producers).
