    Chris Brown.

Dude could have been a true triple threat in the industry but instead chose to be a glorified feature artist with an underwhelming catalog.

yeah, super talented at the end of the day

Agreed, imo it wasn't the punch that did it, the whole J Dilla spill is what turned off listeners and music vets. That was a lot to say and deep af.

Bro, remember this jam when he remixed 808s n Heartbreak.

You a real one. These old CH joints hit, especially when he was spazzing on samples & piano.

I know many are going to disagree with this one but Snoop Dogg.

Dude was an elite emcee at his peak but he never truly recovered from his sophomore slump.

He could've been up there with the greats if he stayed more consistent though.

I think Breezy finally found a formula that works for him album wise with HBOAFM and Indigo. But before them I do agree.

Maximizing streams with long, bouncing all over the place albums instead of having some type of musical direction

Her last 2 albums are good enough to blow her up to stardom imo but it just didn't work out for her. Don't think it ever will because of the controversies people will think she walk before even hearing anything

    The Darkest Angel

The Weeknd for the past 6 years has just gone downhill compared to his classic works like Trilogy and Kiss Land. MDM showed he's still capable but he doesn't put that effort into a full album anymore and it's depressing to listen.

This thread is weird...all I'm seeing are a bunch of artists who have dropped extremely great bodies of work...multiple times even.

Niggas used this thread to give backhanded compliments to artists they don’t like

I mean he’s a pop star now not some mysterious dark R&B guy from Canada anymore. I think he’s one of the only pop acts making good pop music even if I did prefer his style better on Trilogy and Kissland. I think he’s living up to his pop star status through the music he’s making now
