There was just too much garbage or mediocre music between the classics, one of the most interesting rap legends where more than half of his catalog is debatably bad but still is respected like a legend (rightfully so though his classics are among the best of the genre)

Facts and his raps were struggle at best. He was really next up as a singer/producer guy, love all the joints he did with Fabolous. I really wanted a collab album from them back then.

I thought he would be the next Jay, consistently at the top and dropping classics but he's more like a top 10 rapper who peaked early on. Maybe we set our expectations too high but we need a classic feature run at the very least.

Ty$ - wanna see more self produced songs from him. he's a legit well versed instrumentalist.
