Nah.
The album was much worse than his other projects.
Saying the big day is about the same quality as acid rap sure is a take
Party
PND is and has always been that nigga
fr tho i'd say he's one of the more poppin male R&B acts he just don't be in the mix
Was jazz cartier really up next or was his song just played after a Ye song on soundcloud
I could also be thinking of someone else lol
He made some songs that sounded like they coulda been hits, not sure what necessarily went wrong but it felt like his hype faded right after he dropped his best stuff and then he was forgotten
Don’t know about up next but Amir Obe and Johnny Cinco two artists who come to mind that I thought would have made it into the motion of the semi industry at the time that just went away or stayed regional rather in cinco case
Key! Is someone who i thought woukd have caught a situation. A lot of these like troy ave and key are people who lingered in one era so long to the point where the next era came before they really solidly stuck themselves in our minds, or rather just didnt get “the deal” in time
my nigga KIRKO BANGZ.
Oh s*** that's a good one
That track is crazy I remember the first time I heard it was the first blunt I smoked lmao. Then wasted by Wayne
Listening to this now it sounds wildly ahead of it's time, so similar to cash Cobain and a lot of the current jersey club stuff, a remix would be wild
my nigga KIRKO BANGZ.
Damn
This is another one that when it was at its peak it didnt seem like he could just go away. He would have flourished if he debut in 07 or some s*** lmao
Mr. Hudson (listening to there will be tears rn)
Nobody other than Kanye stans ever thought he was "up next". Supernova is a classic though
“Hey d***wads, you gotta listen to my new artist, Saigon.”
Lmao i remember listening to him after this came out and then that nigga vanished
Charles literally got punched out of the game.
@2words
My homie who has a studio in Brooklyn said he would come in sometimes in recent years & bruh basically is off his rocker
I hope he’s been getting the help he needs
He came up at the worst possible time, i dont think the general audience under trump wanted someone positive like Chance, then he doubled down on it with the wife s*** cuz in all honesty his album wasnt that much worse or better than any of his other projects imo
the trump administration has nothing to do with Chance fumbling lmfaoo
the trump administration has nothing to do with Chance fumbling lmfaoo
everything that couldve went wrong did
they were gonna go on that big ass tour with the weeknd but then covid hit
and then they got dropped from xo
it’s a shame because I was just listening to them the other day. the songs still sound great
Oh s*** that's a good one

damn that would be cold af. from your keyboard to some producers' FL studio lmao that remake about to come out in the next couple years now
Y’all naming a lot of people that honestly had no chance due to their image and sound tbh
One of the biggest examples that come to mind is definitely Joey Badass. He should have been way bigger but for some reason took mad long to drop a debut album. Him and some of the other blog era artists taking 2014 off and not dropping debut albums really fumbled that whole scene.
The Mob should have dropped their album that year too
ATL took the torch and ran with it
Damn

!https://youtu.be/GNkfpUGBJ-Etape was crazy. playing s*** like this, Take Care, HOB back then
