    What’s sad is yalls adult Brain be dead serious thinking you’re doing something by cherry picking songs that are obviously made with different “templates” in mind. What’s hilarious is that even in doing this you have to consciously avoid doing this with songs that obviously are in the same template like Nonstop is in the Memphis/Non ATL Southern template and Feel No Ways is in that dance club type sound/Majid Jordan type beats that he’s been doing since Hold On We’re Going Home/Little Bit.

    If you play a Drake song it’s gonna be 1 out of 5 or so “formulas” and that’s ok.

    Wtf is templates lmao
    Thats like saying the griselda niggas make the same songs over and over again because its just rap

    I mean in there own way they have their templates too. Lol drumless sample or menacing boom bap loop and a cover art based around a pro wrestling punchline or ironic white woman = cocaine metaphor. Once they start exclusively only doing that then yea they in the same category which WSG already may be lol I don’t listen to them enough to know. I know Benny did more than that with Johnny P’s Caddy alone tho

    Are you saying you don’t know the definition of what a template is?

    How? Ye, JIK, and Donda sound nothing alike.

    @scumbag

    Most Songs from Ye Donda JIK are interchangeable (only thing that would make it awkward is that some songs he’s religious and some songs he wouldn’t be) and the ones that aren’t are the choir/vocal heavy songs which he’s also been dabbling with since Hollywood Bowl 808’s shows. Songs like Jail/Come To Life/24 are the newest innovation he’s done but that derives from the general post Pablo mesh phase he’s stuck in, you can hear traces of that sound on Ultra Light Beam, I Thought About Killing You, and the Say You Will remixes and whatnot.

    He keeps making the best of all his sounds from the past 5 years instead of committing to a aesthetic and sound like he did on first 4 albums. It’s the MBDTF > Pablo > Donda formula with slight alterations for trends and his own personal narrative

    I can kinda see what you’re saying if I squint, but literally no other artist is held to that standard. Even if the albums feel like amalgamations of all his sounds, song to song, the vibes still vary wildly. And at the very least he brought organs to Donda. No matter what way you cut it, he’s just one of the last people you should bring up in a conversation like this. Especially when you consider how far into his career he is.

    So up until a month ago?

    It’s amazing people treated that like it’s The Love Below when he’s been making songs like that since Karaoke , Little Bit and Take care (Rihanna).

    None of those sound like HNVM 😭
