DAVIDPRich Homie Quan did a 3 hour show for 100 people that I attended, had a great time
He played like 3 extra songs cause someone bought him a Gin & Juice from the bar
after the show he was legit dappin everyone up outside and talking to them, that's for real how you keep a REAL following

Music I used to enjoy affects me less. New music is generally not that interesting to me, aside from a few artists I stan, but even their impact on me feels reduced.
Some of it may come from my learning the technical aspects of music production. Producers will say they had to relearn how to enjoy music as a listener.
Music used to be my favorite thing tbh. It’s really a shock to me and my identity that I may not enjoy it as much anymore.
I don’t enjoy films as much as I did as a kid
Getting older + honing in on a craft gives you a real crisp sense of reality

Fr while the huge venues look lit with mosh pit or whatever, smaller concerts hit different cause like you said the rapper will most likely interact with the crowd more.
Back in Summer 2018 when attending Lu's concert I was able to chat up with Mickey Factz for a bit and and Lu getting someone on the stage to rap Mural with him....man that was great.
Gotta start saving up my money now lol

Bet Mickey would have been sick, and yeah tbh the only reason I'd stay away those festivals is cause of so many teens there but otherwise I LOVE the smaller concerts or even bar performances cause its just so chill

Hell there are scenes being built up that I don't even know of.
There's just waaaaay too much cool s*** in the ether, if you can't find it or wade through it I kind of feel bad for you. If you want deeper music you can find it in the Art Rap scene. But of course the younger kids and mainstream rap is going to be more shallow, but the more indie/underground rap scene has more interesting and boundary pushing production and are trying to bring it to the mainstream.What are some of the best albums from these artist in the last few years. I feel like I just haven’t been as excited about a new artist in a while.
