yea same but at the same time i'd get so involved with it and learn everything about the artist and i'd feel like i knew them, im too old to do that now so it probably has an impact on the way the music hits
When you watch their interviews and attend a concert of theirs your appreciation for their music increases so much

Yeah that's true, that energy of learning more about the artist and their bio has been gone for a while.
Nah bruh the older I’ve gotten the more I realized how much music is important in my life
I hear certain songs and it brings back so many memories. Realized I really was born into this s***. My pops was a music head and still is to this day. Always kept a collection of music. Still tries to find out about new artists
The music hit different when you feel like they talking directly to you too. Sometimes you listen to a song and everything the artist is saying parallels perfectly with your life. When the music is tight that feeling is unmatched
Plus growing up isn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. Gotta let the young niggas rock and show respect to the OGs as well. Happy that I can enjoy the music for what it is even at this age. I look at the past and the future and realize this music s*** is an endless world. It’s exciting
@op I feel you man. Music now has a way more practical function for me than it used to. Like nowadays I listen more as a critic or supporter at times than as a casual listener. I still love it, of course, but it doesn’t really move me so much anymore if that makes sense. I’m more keeping tabs in my head and trying to connect sounds and movements and influence and s***
Which gets really tiring. It’s annoying but I can’t stop myself
That being said, I’m grateful to have access to so much (amazing) music. It really is the best time to be alive as a listener
I’m just here for the s***posting, quoting avys, and L&A sxn
I hardly bother music sxn anymore
When you watch their interviews and attend a concert of theirs your appreciation for their music increases so much
Rich Homie Quan did a 3 hour show for 100 people that I attended, had a great time
He played like 3 extra songs cause someone bought him a Gin & Juice from the bar
after the show he was legit dappin everyone up outside and talking to them, that's for real how you keep a REAL following

Those seem like good times, man because of you he blessed everyone with extra performance
I wanna attend more concerts in the future....ofc after the rona eradicates. Regret not going to the Krit concert in 2019, seemed fun, had Rapsody and Domani opening for him sheesh
I still love all the songs that I've loved before.
It's harder for me to get into newer rappers but I love hearing new music from singers.
I even listened to Velvet Rope by Janet Jackson on KTT's recommendations and that was a great listen.
I don't enjoy music as much anymore because it was an escape for me, confronting issues in my life filled that void that music once did.
I guess my music tastes became more casual and easy going as a side effect as well.

KRIT would have been INSANE
yeah fr though, when you attend smaller concerts/shows most of the time the artist usually tries to talk to the fans too, it's pretty awesome.
Hope you can be able to see some concerts soon bro! Cant imagine what like a Wiz or Krit concert would be like
Honestly rap haven’t been that strong
But electronic and pop been super strong in last couple years so many good artists making real art
Couple good rock bands also popped up that I enjoy listening to also
Then all older music I can hear
I been getting into dubstep/Dnb recently and their is some really dope s***

Fr while the huge venues look lit with mosh pit or whatever, smaller concerts hit different cause like you said the rapper will most likely interact with the crowd more.
Back in Summer 2018 when attending Lu's concert I was able to chat up with Mickey Factz for a bit and and Lu getting someone on the stage to rap Mural with him....man that was great.
Gotta start saving up my money now lol

I don't really like too much new music. But the s*** that I like I like a lot. And I'm constantly playing music.
Had this before. Went months without playing a single song. Just take a break, listen to podcasts, and when you come back you will love it again.
