Idk, for some reason I'm not really as excited about yotei as I thought. Hope they really do something to make it stand out from the first game

My homie went half with me on this. It’s pretty fun ngl. Beautiful game too. Parkour is inexcusably dogshit (bro you play as a ninja wtf?) but the whole package is pretty solid. Hopefully it holds up. I haven’t really reached yasuke yet

Alright there’s way too much s*** in the game that forces me to change between yasuke and naoe. Go explore a temple as naoe, there’s a box I can’t move so I switch to yasuke. I can’t climb this area without naoe so I switch back to her. I come across an archery challenge that’s yasuke only so I switch again, over and over lmao it’s a bit annoying.
It would be cool if you just got to play as whoever you wanted, when you want. Or maybe when there’s an event or interactable thing that requires a certain character it just switches for you.

I can’t believe I’m actually enjoying an AC game man. It’s been so long. My main complaint is dogshit parkour and playable yasuke.

Game could’ve been like 40% better if they had just locked in on naoe as the protag and polished her gameplay/parkour/traversal/story. They could’ve went crazy with her jumping through trees doing flips and using that grapple hook. Make traversal so fun that you don’t want to use the horse. Yasuke could’ve been an important side character or maybe a DLC

This is still Ubisoft slop for sure. But sometimes slop can be comfort food. It’s nice to turn my brain off and enjoy that Ubisoft formula sometimes and I think this game gave me what I wanted for the most part

I'm only like 5 hours in but so far I just love exploring this world. I haven't even unlocked Yasuke yet lmaoooo

But I love the stealth in this one. I don't know why it took so long for them to add in the ability to go prone but I'm glad they finally did.

I didn't love Valhalla and I only played 6 hours of Mirage, but this feels like one I will dive into again like I did Odyssey (sunk over 130 hours into that one)
