apparently the issue was not having guided exploration on, f*** that dont nobody got time for that s*** i turned it on

having me go through puzzles just to get to the next objective

Map design feels like Dragons Dogma 2 tbh

Swinging off the rope and Assassinating the first target was the best feeling assassination in YEARS

Should I just kill anyone I see that has the option to assassinate or attack on the road lmao

I’m enjoying so far but quality could dip, not sure if they’ll pull it off, but there’s a lot of interesting threads that hopefully go somewhere lol, the modern day storyline is being told in little weird crumbs rn but I hope we get full scenes like with Desmond and Layla

currently hard to say exactly, I just unlocked yasuke I’m like 17 hours in but I haven’t been to most of the map so story could be really long idk

no, you shouldn‘t. also not in combat imo. this is the first time in a while where you actually feel like an assassin and not some overpowered stealth god. stick to the targets you absolutely must kill to advance and leave the rest.

slight side mission spoiler, but relevant to your question:

you will encounter someone who looks like an enemy, but he will shiver and plead for his life and if you spare him, you get rare gear and a new side mission branch that will get you even better gear and more stuff to do

is the girl on anyone's side, because i'll show up and people are fighting, then for some reason they start attacking me
