Yeah, I didn't expect feeling "too old" for mainstream rap that early back in 2013-2016
exactly even 2016 which was like the start of the "new wave" i could still vibe because some of those guys were really creative and changed up styles at the time.. its just 2017-2019 that really made me feel out of place..
2017 was def the peak of it
I hate his reviews because there only like four sentences Max, but he has incredible taste, especially for someone known as “dean Of rock music”
Agreed but I respect how long he's been doing this and put me onto some music back in the day
Nobody’s actually “partying” btw they just wanna pretend like they are for the feed. Source: im a zoomer and niggas and b****es alike my age barely leave their rooms and get off their screens
so it's all for looks and attention?
Only white people "outgrow" rap music b you disgust me b

i get you bro and i look for these type of guys, what i meant to say is its just harder to find them here and there and they really aint poppin like that..
i guess the good thing is that they have a real fanbase so their music isn't as disposable

Niggas party. He tripping
i believe that, but at the same time i feel like the "party wave" is so overstated in rap now.. does anyone listening live a normal life where they arent focused on gettin f***ed up? haha
Agreed especially MIKE. I wouldn't call griselda corny either just the fan base around them is starting to erupt into that
i believe that, but at the same time i feel like the "party wave" is so overstated in rap now.. does anyone listening live a normal life where they arent focused on gettin f***ed up? haha
They wanna live vicariously through the music bro. Young people are literally partying less and less Google it
“At what point did you know you were washed and dusty” should have been the title of this thread
They wanna live vicariously through the music bro. Young people are literally partying less and less Google it

Niggas party. He tripping
Nah u trippin or old. I ain’t literally mean nobody as an absolute but it’s an objective fact young people are staying in as opposed to going in more and more and are addicted to social media and whatever else they’re doing on they phones. Deny it all u want here but it’s the truth
They wanna live vicariously through the music bro. Young people are literally partying less and less Google it
I think in general the world is such a dark place atm that people need to listen to hedonistic music just to escape reality
Rap is becoming the fast food of music
it’s been that for a minute now if we being honest
