StardustHell levi slapped his ass and eren didnt even fight back he knew he f***ed up, he even broke down hearing about sasha's death, which he caused btw. Eren only knows how to charge forward, hes always done It and its the reason he always get caught. There's the dialogue between hannes, armin and mikasa in S2 (where this happens too btw, eren gets emotional, transforms into titan and is defeated by reiner and bertholdt) and they reminisce of all the times eren left went ahead and left his friends behind, its in character, no matter how stoic he looks.

ThisAuburnNiggaSomeone said there’s only one singular timeline in this universe. Idk how to even conceive of someone being able to view the past, present and future if time is linear, so maybe take that with a grain of salt
yeah, i don't think that would make sense for there to only be one singular timeline either.
everything Eren sees is based on memories meaning something that has already happened at some point so it's not like it's one singular timeline and he's time traveling.

“Historia's backstory was created to shed more empathy to what Eren was going on at that time. He lost his purpose after finding out his dad ate the remaining hope for mankind’s survival. And within that despair, Eren witnessed the very similar Historia releasing herself from the Reiss curse. This made him decide that he too should do the same.”
This is straight from Isayama, detailing Historia in Eren’s eyes after what happened in the Reiss cave and explains why Eren wanted better for her.
The tone of the conversation they had about the rumbling doesn’t even feel romantic, they are literally just talking about ways to keep her from being turned into a titan and basically becoming Ymir #362268 in the Fritz/Reiss bloodline making babies just to pass down a titan.
Eren thought it was f***ed up that she was losing her freedom just for the continuation of that cycle she broke out of.
SHE suggest that she gets pregnant only because that would keep the military from turning her into a titan. The father was irrelevant, Isayama purposefully made him irrelevant but explained his significance to Historia within the manga so irrelevant or not his identity was ONLY the focus for a short conversation between a bunch of incompetent chatty patty ass niggas.

Eren and Historia have literally never shared a mutual romantic link. The idea of Eren making Historia have a baby is framed as a tool and "option" which doesn't have any romantic feelings at all.
Which would just boil down to Isiyama not being good at writing romance.
That's why the Eren Mikasa s*** feels so forced. Isayama never did the shipping garbage but he shoehorned in that scene. I'm more just focused on how much stronger the motivations behind Eren's character in part 2 would be if the child was his. There's enough evidence in the manga that either the author was purposely trying to mislead readers or he changed his plans imo

I just felt like there was a lot of hints that Eren was the father of her child and it would make sense why Eren was so determined to go through with his plan while even putting his friends' lives on the line. All so his child could have freedom. That makes way more sense than the bullshit we got

while i still like the ending I think my biggest issue is timeskip needed more Chapters. I feel like no marleyan besides reiner is as well developed as any of the paradis characters

I will say, in Isayama’s defense, it’s so much easier to do that type of bait and switch when the scope is as small as what they did with Lelouch. With this show, Eren is the plot driver of the cycle of hatred they’ve displayed, but he also has to fit in this whole time travel aspect that he did so well for most of the chapter. I don’t think CG has any time travel iirc
i was about to reply to your other message saying the ending is code geass in worse, but you are right that it was easier to pull of in CG. and lelouch was an actual genius too. however i still find the reasoning behind eren‘s rumbling very questionable
