i think america will erupt into political/idealogical civil war before we go to war with russia under trump.
We kinda already saw it beginning with January 6th

also think we'd have a problem on our hands if biden gets re-elected as well since it seems that Trump has won over folks and the democrats have ruined their reputation

glad you brought this up @OP ive been realizing this alot to over the past few years. Them PPP and PUA loans definetely helped Trumps reputation even though that was bipartisan policies.

you mean the ppp and stimulus checks trump initially refused to sign until congress gave him no other choice? why can’t ppl see that

oh ok im not familiar with European conflicts.

I mean not to be a big NATO fan but it is getting a bit scary when the next US president talks about how he will completely abandon the military complex stationed in the EU while Russia invades Ukraine.

Meanwhile we pump now billions into our military now and suddenly the majority want to bring back the the mandatory service

How many those fellas actually gonna go out and vote. Hopefully just a small proportion. To some extent they see conservatism and trump as a f*** the system type vibe rather than being backed by substance...

Because men are becoming increasingly stupid, cynical and unappreciative of the systems and people that helped them get to where they are today. And then when those systems are starting to fall apart because of their lack of support they try to blame anyone but themselves.

Men are the issue? White women were second largest group that voted for Trump in 2020

Are y’all not paying attention to social/political discourse? Trump could absolutely win popular vote. Not saying he’ll win election but y’all are really underestimating the “silent majority” and the all the new fringe voters that’s he’s attracted over the years.

Don’t be surprised is all I’m saying

He cannot win a popular vote lol

He lost by 7M votes in 2020 and lost by 3M votes in 2016

He can absolutely win the presidency, there is a legit 0% chance he wins the popular vote. He can easily win 310 electoral votes and lose by 5M in the popular. Trump only wins deep red states like Texas and Florida by 100s of thousands of votes while he lost California by 5M lol.

The discourse is full of s***, since 2020 the news media has been s***ting on Democrats every move and they have outperformed all expectations in races in spite of Biden's unpopularity. Trump is just as unpopular now as in 2020, just Biden is too now. If we believe the discourse before the 2020 election, Biden would of won Texas, Florida, Ohio, etc.

Yea I see what you’re saying. Maybe I’m over estimating the Trump train. But to go back to OP’s point, I’ve been seeing and uptick in radical fringe ideologies and “niggas for Trump” seems to be a lot more common than I noticed during the first run for president. Amongst other fringe movements

all across the board a lot the right seems a lot louder this time around. Maybe it’s an algorithmic thing and it won’t reflect the real data.

I think the fact that Trump is heading to primary is a mindfuck within itself.

Ima a bit of cynic and expect the worst

Biden is historically bad. As someone who hated trump and would’ve done anything to get him out, I’m now convinced Biden is even worse and I think a lot of people feel that way

Not saying I’m one of them though I’m just not voting again

people were happier when he was pres compared to biden

To be fair, 2016-2019 was an all around better time than 2020 - present in general. Life in Canada was also better during that time and we have had the same prime minister since 2015
