Wild seeing the number of people I’ve seen hyped for this game but saying they didn’t like Divinity: OS2.
Didn’t realize that game was as polarizing in the CRPG community.

Can’t decide if this path would be better suited for a first or second playthrough.

I’m leaning towards second since it’s seem much more freeform compared to the more structured nature of the origin characters.

it is? Seems to me that the only issue people have with Larians games is the turn based instead of real time with pause

seems stupid to me tho cause the encounters in Larians games are alot more quality over quantity

larian and firaxis carrying the entire weight of the turn based genre rn

environmental exploits in BG3 are a bit turned down since the dnd foundation doesnt offer as much as dos2 however they definitely upped the 3 dimensional nature

barbarians having a field day jumping down roofs and throwing people 30 meters down into a spider pit

truly exciting system

love the throwback its probably gonna be to Baldurs gate 1 and 2

and also making my own character witht hat creator

However in comparison to dos2 I feel like the origin characters got sooo much better now. Can imagine playing all of them

As a console player I’m so nervous, especially with a game this huge.

Just imagining getting to a later act 60+ hours into the game and it just perpetually crashing.

They have the write, record and edit the review though.

I never played this genre type of a game, but I do enjoy old school turn based rpgs. Should I play divinity just to get a feel for this game

No, in fact play this one first, it will be easily the new player friendliest and also have the best quality of life features with respecc, best explanation of systems and easiest to undershand huds etc.

CRPGs are a great genre with lots of amazing games to discover but Im certain this one will be the best introduction to the genre
