started a co-op campaign with my non gamer gf (probably a horrible mistake)

Ran into people and I think I was trying to defuse them from fighting me

My gf during the cutscene where I'm talking to them walks into a trap where she falls through the ground and it instant agros everyone and forces us into a fight.

It’s so over for me it’s not even funny

Frames drop in heavier areas and i’ve noticed some pop in during big cutscenes and when starting dialogue, but there’s nothing horrible.

my thoughts on this masterpiece..truly deserved GOTY

first couple hours were really rough, never played a game like this before and I get bored easily with movie games

however this s*** is different! so much freedom and great dialogue...my only gripe so far is that it's such an investment to play

can't really pick this up and play for just an hour...I'm only 30 hours in doing the investigate kagha quest in the swamp aka I haven't seen s*** yet

The only thing I'm sad about is that larian doesn't seem concerned with DLC and that a new game may be a long time away.

6 years between BG3 and their last game DOS2 hopefully their next one doesn’t take as long if they’ve got their engine all set and experience developing on it but sheesh

tbh this was never meant to take as long as it did.

They early access was out since 2020 and it was as they all said their covid game.

That being said yeah theyre far from a yearly company. Altho they did alot of legwork with Baldurs Gate 3. What they did with that game is so tight imo they can use it as a blueprint for their next game like it was for dos1 to dos2.

They will let us know but just from interviews Swen gave with the release its also not in their interest to have another 6 year gap. He even made comments regarding DLC and how it wasnt usually their thing but with the success with BG3 things can change.

Minthara route kinda sucks ass compared to siding with the Tieflings. Reloaded after the 69 and slaughtered the goblins.

Wish there was a movement speed boost in the over world like force speed on KOTOR. Sometimes a pain backtracking running slow af through the world when you’ve cleared the encounters

I got a message that I was underleveled when I was trying to go into chapter 2. So I ended up going back to the first area and doing a lot of the side content I missed, the combats still not my favorite but i’m having more fun than I was a couple days ago. I think this’s really a game I should take my time with.

I ended up convincing a Warlord Gnoll to eat itself using the mind flayer, ridiculous stuff like that is going to keep me playing. It’s so cool how much freedom they give you.

Yeah I was really disappointed when dash didn’t actually increase my speed lol

She saw people morning over a dead body but the loot button appeared over the body so her dumbass clicked it and agro’d the entire first village area… proceeded to die, and lose 10 min of progress

same thing happened to me and my friend when we first played spent like an hour fighting everyone and then me trying to find a way to get away and not get caught

auto save sucks in this game though i did a whole bunch of stuff died then it took me like 30 minutes back

im just manually saving when i get the chance

naw this really the game of life. I just got my older brother on this s*** and we both played for like 4 hours in multiplayer and didnt notice

If you move far away enough from a battle you can flee (exit battle) which causes you to spawn at camp. Proceed to let the remainder of your party die, and then talk to Withers and resurrect them all.
