I agree with everything you are saying .

the death of the scientist and destruction of the cure is inherently selfish though and ruins chances for all of humanity . The umbrella agents were bumbling fools but they tried to fix their mistake for the betterment of humanity which is the global family that’s accountability . Saying “ how long does it take someone to turn “ isn’t accountability. Same way if his girlfriend never told him she was pregnant and just had the baby or aborted . He isn’t willing to grow up or confront his reality the entire movie. Similiar to last of us ending where he chooses not to sacrifice Ellie but there was a chance that didn’t work . This if they get it and replicate it humanity has a good chance

But the direction, editing and pacing are so fire Absolutely disgusting creature effects and nice set design that felt appropriately video gamey. Solid movie.

Projections for the movie’s China’s openings are apparently really good, $300+ million total seems to be a lock at this point, now to see if the movie can hit $400 million with it opening up in Japan.

I mean he was clearly the best of the form

because it was finally terrifying to look at a monster that had a face and that was all those humans combined. i think it purposefully puts a face on the monster at the end of the movie and the monster makes noise at the end rather than when it was just a combination of other people. He is the scientist mistakes . he is his own mistakes. he is all that incompetence combined. The helicopter is forced to look at what they created.

With how much $$$ this made I'd be shocked if there wasn't a second one but it being a direct/Cregger directed sequel yeah who knows, hope it happens though

I dont think most of the actors return but many of them dont need to. I mean Brians girlfriend was played by creggers wife lol and he has no kids . in some ways the story was self insert

they’re definitely gonna make another movie but it’s going to be another standalone. there’s nothing to add to cregger’s story (this is a compliment)
