That would be a worthwhile retcon to say “ you know what creature commandos isn’t sane universe “ but ego too big to chop it off

s*** always funny to me cause when they rebooted dc comics after crisis they had many retreats where they figured out the first five or so years of story telling.
then they had a lore/continuity guy whose whole job was reading every comic script and checking it against what was happening in-universe and what they decided on that retreat.
and apparently with all of this money and all of this adoration for that specific time period in comics. apparently no one once has ever thought to do this for their cinematic universe

i’m really having my doubts with him honestly. he seems way more into every movie being a james gunn movie rather than every movie contributing to a rich tapestry of characterization

Your issue was Gunn going out of 123 event movie structure . Our issue is Gunn has no plan at all . I don’t care about rushing to justice league or an event . I don’t think every character needs origin exposition movie . I think Gunn doesn’t have a plan and keeps retconning
